Tonto Verde, Rio Verde and Vista Verde are three exceptionally beautiful communities to the north of Scottsdale and Fountain Hills, accessible by either route.  They are nestled northeast of the McDowell Mountains.  The McDowell Regional Park forms the west boundary, to the south is the McDowell Indian Community and the east and north adjoin the 2.9 million acre Tonto National Forest. This is an outdoorsman or woman’s retirement dream. Hiking trails abound, horse stables are numerous and the views are of mountains and forests.
