Moving home can be a stressful time. First, you were stressed because you couldn’t find a house that you loved. This is why so many people are now building their dream home (if this is something that interests you then check out this Randy Jeffcoat Builders Home Page). Sometimes though it was just because you couldn’t find the right real estate agent. The biggest mistake that people make is using the wrong real estate agent, you need one that knows what you want and one that can help you get what you want. That is why so many people are now making use of sites like getagent.co.uk to help them find the perfect real estate agent. Once they find the perfect real estate agent, then they can easily find the perfect home! Once you have found your perfect home, moving day is the next big stress that you will have to deal with.
And of course, selling your existing property can also be overwhelming! The real estate market can be particularly difficult to navigate, especially if you are new to the property scene. However, it is worth noting that there are a number of real estate companies out there such as House Buyers of America that are committed to getting your house sold as quickly as possible. As with any major decision, if you are in the process of selling your home, be sure to do plenty of research to make sure that you are making the right choices for your property.
When moving day finally comes though, then there are a few things that you can do to help ease the process, let’s say for instance, how are you traveling to your new home? Are you driving and moving your possessions along with you? Or would you instead need to learn more about transporting a car across states, as well as looking into different moving companies for your furnishings and possessions to allow for a more stress-free relocation?
Your first day in your new home there are a few essentials that you will be glad you have. The biggest essential is Toilet Paper!
Am I right or am I right?
To go with that, hand soap & paper towels. Let’s add some hand lotion, those boxes are drying and so is Arizona.
Most sellers do their best to leave a, somewhat cleaned out home. You are going to find places that are most likely not cleaned to your satisfaction. Be prepared with some all-purpose cleaner and a few rags.
Box cutter to get into and break down boxes. Trash bags, as you unpack all the packing paper seems to multiply.
A case of water, and other bottled drinks. Protein bars or some snack that will keep you going till someone orders a pizza or does a sandwich run. A jar of nut-butter and a spoon or maybe some crackers if you have to share.
Before you stop and drop for the night, be sure to have a few personal basics ready to go too. Soap, Shampoo, toothbrush/paste, towels, and sheets and blankets for your beds. Oh and lets remember a shower curtain! A change of clothes and any medication.
I don’t know about you, but for me if I have a Band-Aid available I won’t ever need it. A handful of Tylenol for the end of the day’s sore muscles, a tool box with a collection of tools is always a good idea. If you have animals, remember all of their food and their bed, so they have someplace familiar and safe.
Happy Moving Day!
