DC Ranch

Senior Couple Golfing On Golf Course Lining Up Putt On GreenDC Ranch  This nationally acclaimed private golf and residential community at the base of the McDowell Mountains provides panoramic views of Scottsdale and Phoenix below.  The community is a living tribute to the Sonoran Desert landscape and its preservation. It has an enviable standard of living with a small town atmosphere. The plans used by the builders are unique to DC ranch, used at no other location in the valley. Front porches and courtyards abound, side garage entries and tree lined meandering streets achieve a cozy neighborhood feeling.

Silverleaf, a separate private guarded-gated community stands as a natural extension of DC Ranch.  The combination of single family, one of a kind custom, detached, attached and even luxury rental residences are tastefully blended.  The homes are connected by fiber-optic pathways and sophisticated services.

There are two private clubs and golf courses.  The Silverleaf Club course, designed by Tom Weiskopf provides dramatic elevation changes and city views.  The exclusively private Silverleaf Club and Spa is one of the world’s finest.  Golf and Clubhouse memberships are available.

The Country Club at DC Ranch is a leading social club in the NE Valley with features to support activities for all ages.  The 18 hole 71 par 6,888 yard course was designed by Tom Lehman and John Fought.  Membership is by invitation and is separate from property ownership. It is available to residents and non-residents alike.  Three levels are offered: full golf; sport social; and clubhouse.

The community center, called Desert Camp provides every possible recreational amenity. The Master plan is of a fully contained community which it has achieved.  Market street has retail shopping and fine dining while it adjoins approximately 33 miles of paths and trails to enjoy the beauty of the desert and the mountains.

I don’t play golf and most of the communities have golf courses, do I have to buy a golf club membership?

Happy Senior Man Throwing Frisbee Outside in SunshineA few of the communities do require that you purchase a membership along with your home purchase. Most do not. Each community is different and you must clarify exactly what is and is not included in your Home Owners Association (HOA) fee.
