The Towns of : Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, and Apache Junction
Tempe is home to Arizona State University main campus. Mesa is the third largest city in Arizona and was founded by Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) missionaries. Mesa has over 100 high-technology firms. Chandler calls itself the “High Oasis of the Silicon Desert” while Gilbert, once a tiny farm town, was the most rapidly growing city in the United States for 2003 and 2004. The new home communities abound and growth is about to sprawl beyond the city limits of all three cities.
